On the morning of September 12th, 2020, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the opening ceremony of graduate programs in 2020 (PhD. degree in the academic year 2020-2023 and Master's degree in the academic year 2020-2022).

With the goal of becoming one of the elite research universities in the world, TDTU always focuses on promoting postgraduate education. This is also the content in the strategy of developing highly qualified human resources for the society, and at the same time enhancing the university’s research capacity. Over the past 10 years, TDTU has trained more than 3,000 students for Master’s degree. This force is currently holding many important positions in teaching, research field as well as taking care of management in businesses, agencies and departments. This has greatly contributed to affirm the prestige as well as the quality of education at TDTU.

Dr. Le Van Ut presented seminar on scientific citation

In the afternoon of the same day, a seminar was organized by the School of Graduate Studies in order to help master students and PhD students on how to apply scientific citations to their researches and support their researching progress. Joined the seminar, Dr. Le Van Ut gave an incredible and inspiring speech on why and how citations should be used in researches. Also, students were actively participating in the seminar. Overall, the seminar was a success and achieved its sole purpose - provides in-depth knowledge and supports postgraduate students of TDTU.

Additionally, a meeting between The Department of Student Affairs, School of Graduate Studies, and postgradute students was also carried out successfully. The students and representatives had a productive discussion on the problems postgraduate students faced in the new school year. Questions and problems were answered and dealt with thoroughly. With that being said, postgraduate students were enabled to have a promising school-year 2020-2021.
