SIGNING CEREMONY OF COOPERATION AGREEMENT AND MINUTES OF CONFIRMATION OF SPONSORSHIP FOR EDUCATION BETWEEN FACULTY OF INDUSTRIAL ARTS AND MEMETOON ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY (KOREA)

On June 14, 2024, at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), a cooperation agreement and sponsorship confirmation memorandum for education were signed between the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts (MTCN) and Memetoon Entertainment (South Korea), represented by Clip K Studio Co., Ltd. in Vietnam.

Attending the signing ceremony on behalf of Memetoon Entertainment were Mr. Park Seong Kwan, Chairman of the Board of Memetoon Entertainment (South Korea); Mr. Kim Duck Bo, CEO of Memetoon Entertainment (South Korea); Mr. Kim Boo Hyun, CEO of Memetoon Entertainment (Vietnam), and representatives from Clip K Studio Co., Ltd. Vietnam.

On behalf of TDTU, the ceremony was attended by MSc. Hoang Le Duy, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts; MSc. Le Quoc Bao, Assistant to the Head of the Student Affairs Office; MSc. Ly Nhat Binh, Assistant to the Head of the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts and Head of the Graphic Design Department, along with faculty representatives and students.

Memetoon Entertainment is a leading enterprise group in Southeast Asia, operating in the fields of webtoon studios, graphic design, comics, and applied art in both South Korea and Vietnam. The company aims to establish a cooperation agreement with the university.

Both parties have signed a cooperation agreement that includes organizing specialized seminars, implementing site visits and professional internships, recruitment, utilizing services at the company/university, and collaborating on education, scientific research, and scholarship funds.

At the ceremony, Mr. Kim Boo Hyun, CEO of Memetoon Entertainment, awarded a scholarship worth VND 200 million to students in the Graphic Design department of the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts to support their academic activities.

On behalf of the leadership of the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts and the students, MSc. Hoang Le Duy, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts and Head of the Interior Design Department, expressed his gratitude and looked forward to the practical activities that both parties have agreed upon for the upcoming academic years.

At the end of the program, representatives from Memetoon Entertainment (South Korea) and Clip K Studio Co., Ltd. in Vietnam presented meaningful gifts to the faculty and students who attended the ceremony.
